The well-known Dutch Dance teach Maria Speth will again be joining the SWOP festival and offer dance workshops for teacher in the Cultural Region of Mid- and West Zealand. this time she will come to almost every city in the Region. Read more about Maria on http://www.dansspetters.nl

Maria explanation of the workshop:

Running, jumping, falling, rolling and getting up again…
Thinking, talking, puzzling, searching and starting over again…
They all lead to 1001 motives for motion

The importance of a dancing mind is the main theme in these active workshops. Through this journey into dance embedded in an educational context, teachers can make use of guidelines for the application of dance in many different learning settings. All the themes are based on every day life issues.

The workshop takes place in:

Holbæk 29 April 16.00 – 20.00 in the big hall at Holbæk library

Ringsted 1 May 8.30 – 12.30 in the hall at Anlægspavillionen, Tvær Alle, 4100 Ringsted
Roskilde 2 May 13.00-16.30 at Østervangsskolen – focusing on the age group from 10 to 13 years . Also addressing teachers from Lejre.

Tickets are free, but registration at billet@aabendans.dk is necessary
