NATTEN (The Night)

Natten is a performance solely based on the premises of the babies. In the performance, the babies can move around and react impulsively to the senses of their bodies without being retained.

Most parents are familiar with the exhausting feeling of constant lack of sleep, which is present for long periods of time during parenthood. In MYKA’s interactive performance, Natten gives the night a new tone. Here, the night is connected to a positive and imaginary experience, where babies and adults release their fantasy and indulge in a magical nighttime universe.

The light of the moon, shades, bodies and glittering stars all dance together in the surroundings of an organic soundscape of calming tunes.
