DANCE CAMP – for young people

Thirty young dancers at the age of 13-25 are swopping moves, ideas and culture – and getting ready to perform during the festival.

As with the previous SWOP-festivals we arrange a dance camp for groups of young dance enthusiasts. The 30 young talented dancers from Roskilde, Fredericia and Stralsund in Germany are invited to take part in a three-day festival camp which takes place during a weekend full of real live performances of established artists, workshops and “swopping”. The participants will get the opportunity to present their own choreographies and to meet this years SWOP-artists.

Keep your eyes open if you are near the Roskilde city center on Saturday and the Musicon district on Sunday, and you might just get at glimps of the young dancers doing their pop-ups with their own choreographies – right there in the middle of it all.
