Is it at all possible – and relevant – to make a difference between arts and learning?

With the school reform in Denmark that was activated 2014/2015 the connection between arts and schools has become closer. Arts and culture welcome this closer relation, but it also opens up some questions and maybe even paradoxes, such as:

·         When is the work with the young audiences art?
·         When is it learning?
·         Is it at all possible – and relevant – to make a difference between arts and learning?
·         Is it possible to learn a number of skills at the same time?

Next to the school reform is has become more and more popular to create professional performances with young people on stage. This movement also opens some questions:
·         Is it a process of learning (with a pedagogical aim) that the young people enters by participating in a  performance?
·         Or a professional relationship with the producer?
·         And how do these performances challenge perception of a professional performance (an oevre)
·         How does it challenge the relationship between the audiences and the artist/producer?
