REFLECTION ROOM

is a place of… reflections. In the belief of the value of the conversation, we will use the day on exchange and explore without seeking a definite conclusion. A day of opening doors and looking into the rooms behind. Together with colleagues and professionals, with an interest in performing arts for the young audience, this is an opportunity to reflect upon essential matters within the cultural sector and society.
The topics of the day are:

  • Gender/sexual identity – moderated by Fiona Ferguson, Imaginate (Scotland)
  • (over)protection – moderated by Gerhard Verfaille, Cultuurcentrum Hasselt (Belgium)
  • Migration – moderated by Pascal Brunet (France)
  • Site specific work – moderated by Ådne Sekkelsten, Scenekunstbruket (Norway)
  • Intergenerational work – moderated by Thomas Eisenhardt, Aaben Dans, (Denmark)
  • Participatory work – moderated by Pernille Møller Taasinge, Aaben Dans (Denmark)

We have invited Mr. Pascal Brunet, director of “Relais Culture Europe” to come and inspire us as keynote speaker. Mr. Brunet has a huge knowledge and insight in international artistic work and cultural relations.
